Bespoke Fitted Oak Study

We thoroughly enjoyed transforming this room with a bespoke handcrafted oak study. The painted bookcase was already a built in feature, but had open shelving to floor level which we modified with the addition of solid oak soft closing doors, a moulded oak lipping just above the doors and an oak plinth to tie the new oak elements of this section together. The desk top was crafted from solid oak, and the cabinet supporting the left end of the work surface was a new bespoke addition too. This cabinet was complimented with a solid oak dovetail drawer, storage cabinet below, and a hidden space behind for a briefcase. In addition to the desk area, we also handcrafted two bespoke oak bookcase cabinets to position either side of the central window. These were handmade within keeping of the rest of the new oak furniture, with cupboards at the base and each fitted with soft closing double doors.
